I would like to practice my writing, and practice meditating on God’s word, so that I can improve my conversation with others, and my ability to discuss spiritual things in family worship. Most importantly, though, I should practice my own ability to meditate and draw out principles from reading God’s word. In my family worship, we recently finished 1 Kings, and I had lots of good spiritual comfort through that, so I thought it might be a good start to this exercise. I’m publishing these so that perhaps someone else can benefit, and have more things to consider for their own personal or family worship. This is not meant to be a commentary, and also shouldn’t be taken as an interpretation of the text. They are merely my thoughts after reflecting on the reading. “O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.” Psalm 119:97 - - - # Index | 1 Kings | | | | -------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------- | | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 1\|Chapter 1]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 9\|Chapter 9]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 17\|Chapter 17]] | | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 2\|Chapter 2]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 10\|Chapter 10]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 18\|Chapter 18]] | | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 3\|Chapter 3]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings11\|Chapter 11]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 19\|Chapter 19]] | | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 4\|Chapter 4]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 12\|Chapter 12]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 20\|Chapter 20]] | | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 5\|Chapter 5]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 13\|Chapter 13]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 21\|Chapter 21]] | | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 6\|Chapter 6]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 14\|Chapter 14]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 22\|Chapter 22]] | | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 7\|Chapter 7]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 15\|Chapter 15]] | | | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 8\|Chapter 8]] | [[Meditation on 1 Kings 16\|Chapter 16]] | |
